At St. Moses Children’s Care Centre & Community Development, we believe that young people are the heartbeat of tomorrow’s communities. Our Youth Program, launched in July 2023, empowers vulnerable youths socially and economically so they can actively participate in the development of their societies.
🎯 Purpose of the Youth Program
- Equip youth with life skills that foster independence and resilience
- Create safe spaces for self-expression through arts, sports, and cultural activities
- Build civic awareness and responsibility among young people
- Offer opportunities for psychosocial support and mentorship
- Support them to acquire skills that improve their employability and income potential
👥 Who We Reach
- 400+ vulnerable youth are currently enrolled
- Participants come from communities surrounding the Centre
- Focus is on those at risk of poverty, unemployment, and social exclusion
